Can some one help with clarification for me...

My application changed to Mailed on Wednesday Feb 20 ...

I am correct that even though the status changed to Mailed on a Wednesday, DPS does not actually mail it out until Friday of each week? Sort like a batch mailing?

My friend's plastic arrived in his mailbox on the same day his status changed to mailed. My status changed to mailed on the 13th, was postmarked on the 19th and arrived on the 21st.

Best guess is that once the status changes to mailed, you will receive your plastic in 0-10 days, no rhyme or reason to it.

Status of mine changed to Mailed 16 Feb. I received it on 22 Feb, but it was post marked on 20 Feb. No ryhme or reason.

Status changed to mailed 02/19, postmarked 02/20, mailbox 02/22.

Mine was changed to "mailed" on the 21st. Still haven't received it. I live in Austin so I'm really wondering how long it takes to mail something maybe 10 miles (assuming that's where they ship it from). I thought I'd have it today but I guess not. Crossing my fingers for some Monday afternoon delight.

Spouse's said mailed on 21st but no sign of it as of today's mail. Mine changed to mailed on the 24th. Curious to see if they end up arriving at the same time. We are 90 miles from Austin.

my renewal changed over to Mailed last Friday. I just got it today.
