Mine took 60 days but that was early 2009 and was considered a good turn around time (at the time).

24 days.

Mrs. Oldgringo's license took 160 days because (?) of her fingerprints. The prints became immediately acceptable after submitting the fourth set of prints AND wtitten hardcopy letters to the Gov, Lt Gov, DPS and our state Senator.

{I love telling and re-telling this story to the new applicants. }

66 days mailbox to mailbox

This won't give those of you waiting a warm fuzzy feeling. Mine was 89 days from the day I mailed in my stuff until the day received my plastic. I didn't have any issues with the application, fingerprints or skeletons in my closet. I most definitely got the slow desk.

I filled out online, took passport photos and fingerprints before taking the class.
Class March 10
Mailed certified March 12
They received March 15
Went to bckground check March 22
They sent me a letter dated May 7
I received it May 12
They needed the court document on DWI's I listed them in the online application but did not send a copy of the judgement.
Mailed back certified May 14
They received it May 15
Manufacture pending May 18
Manufacture May 19
Mailed 22
I'm going to Ruidoso from 25th thru 30th so it will probably come while I am gone.
I find myself looking at manufature pending, manufature, and mailed more than I did background check.
If you don't have proof of pleas or judgements on proir arrests you may need to get them. You can get a certified copy from the county clerks office.
