Welcome
Both weapons are easily concealed with a good holster and belt :)

Welcome to the forum Side1! I can't speak to concealing the Taurus but the Glock 19 is easily concealed. I currently carry a Glock 23 IWB with no problems. Good Luck !

THIS .... and welcome as well :tiphat:

mid-size, standard-frame width Glock (19, 23, 32) is easily concealed in any of the popular "hybrid" IWB (inside the waistband) holsters on the market - Crossbreed Supertuck, Comp Tac MTAC Minotaur, Durham conceament, Old Faithful, Tucker The Answer, etc.

And at the risk of offending all the Taurus fans out there, remember that the most important rule is "have a gun" but the second most important aspect of a concealed carry weapon is RELIABILITY (no use in having it if it won't go bang every time you pull the trigger) .... NOT knocking Taurus, but I think Glock's reputation for reliability speaks for itself and equals or surpasses almost any other handgun available.

I agree with you about the taurus I am now in the search for another glock to carry subcompact 9mm or .40. I have never had a miss fire with my glock. My PT145 mp has been scetchy at times with cheap ammo.

Just FYI, I've owned/carried all three sizes of Glock and you don't really gain a lot in terms of concealment between a subcompact (G26, G27, G33) and a mid-size unless you want to pocket carry or ankle carry. For belt carry, especially IWB, not much practical difference.

Sorta reminds me of focal lengths of SLR camera lenses. Everyone starts with a good mid-size zoom (28-80 on a 35mm format) but as you gain more experience you find using the extreme focal length zooms (17-35 and 70-200) more advantageous. Same thing with Glock sizes. Starting out, carry the G19 and learn to carry and shoot it well. With experience, determine if you find it too big, too small, or just right. Me personally, if I can carry a G19 size gun I can usually carry a G17 size gun. But if I need something smaller than full size, I usually need G26 size or even smaller (pocket carry of snubbie revolver or Ruger LCP-size .380)

All that said, if you want to trade your G19 for a G27, PM me ... might be interested as I'm trying to get out of .40-cal
