So I actually sent out my packet in april sometime... no news of status yet.
But, I have received notices that they are terminating applications process so the FBI can help the census bureau with their work.
Wonder how longer will this delay our application process

The delay was supposed to be about a week that the FBI would be doing census checks, which would probably turn into a 2 week delay in FBI fingerprint processing.
Good luck

There have been several updates lately. It looks like whatever was holding things up has finally cleared up. Hopefully this will get everyone back on track. Good luck.
Did you send your package by registered mail?

I did, just because everyone said to, but I am wondering what would happen if it wasn't registered mail?
Just for the record, I did read the string on "... does it really matter" Just trying to pass the time...

I just sent mine in regular mail on May 17th a hour after being electorinally finger printed. According to L-1 the electronic finger prints don't get to the state until 10-15 days later?? (anyone heard this)
anyways I just checked my status at DPS and the only thing there is "Citizenship: no docs required"
package was mailed from San Antonio going to Austin so it should have gotten there by Thursday..assumeing dps got it on Thursday how much longer should before seeing the Received status??
