Howdy all, I'm new to the site, I've been reading that I am supposed to recieve my PIN in the mail but I hav'nt gotten it yet... Also what is the link to check your status online? I searched the dps website but couldn't find it... TIA :cool:

How did you apply? Was it online or did you do everything via paper and mail? When did you send it in?

If you paid online, then you should have gotten your pin when you got your packet. If you are doing it the traditional route, then it usually takes about a month before you get your pin.

I took the class on 12/15/07 and mailed it the next day the post office was open, I believe 12/17/07. I still havn't recieved anything? Its been slightly more than a month...

10/23/07 - Completed package mailed to DPS
10/26/07 - Package arrives at DPS
11/29/07 - Recieved PIN via usps
01/09/08 - Still waiting on "investigative report" for background check.
02/05/08 - Issued/Active - 101 days total

You can't do squat without the PIN.
It comes in a letter from the good folks at the DPS.

Hey aggie_engr, do you work with any TTI folks?
