here is the new xds and my alien head iwb holster. I was going to go with a supertuck but the wait was longer then i could stand. this holster was 40 shipped... I think the tan leather was a little cheaper.

current timeline
5/24 Mailed packet
5/27 Usps shows Del of materials
6/11 Dps shows packet recieved. Back ground under review
6/12 Dps shows BG complete Mfg pending
6/13 Dps shows Mailed

Wishfull thinking it would be in the mail today.. I saw a timeline showing mailed 6/11 and they had plastic on saturday..
There is always tomorrow.

My G19 with a Hopp Customer Leather holster is ready to go (though I'm going to get some MTAC kydex clips for it to replace the steel clips).

I am picking up my S&W 9mm Shield today and will be ordering a sticky holster for both that and my CM9. I still need to pick up a Wilderness Instructor Belt and Magazine pouch for both the Shield and G19. I am also eyeing up an MTAC Infidel Ultra for the Shield but I want to try the sticky holster first.

I will have some decisions to make about EDC once I start carrying but the Glock may not be carried as much as I originally thought.

Im left handed & it hard to find a holster accept online.

Mine was mailed same day, but wife's came yesterday and mine no show, so probably will be today like yours.

Actually I shouldnt complain it hasnt been that long for me. Plus I'm studying laws & CCW porcedures while waiting. Lots of good books for CHLers out there!

After reading 1quick4.6's post, I decided to go get my Supertuck holster ordered. I didn't realize that they had such a back log (their site says about 2 months). Thanks for the heads up . Hopefully I won't get my holster first!

Just checked and background check competed/manufacture pending!!!

Just checked and was in MAILED STATUS. That was about 1:30pm. I almost didn't check because I checked this morning about 9:00am and it was still in manufacture pending. Reason being I had read multiple posts that DPS only updates 1x per day at 6am and therefore it is not necessary to check multiple times per day. This is bad info and feel free to check away!!!!

I don't know this as a fact, but I'm starting to think that it depends on whoever is doing your app as to when your updates get entered. ALL of mine were at 6am, as were others, but some others have been at all times of the day (or night). No rhyme or reason to the madness.
