Welcome steking; hope your wait is not too long. Great forum to hang around in and if you're not careful, you might learn a thing or two. At the very least, a lot of sympathetic "waiters" to keep you company.

steking wrote:Well I'm in the August thread. My wife and I both took the course and mailed at the same time. She has two counties listed, I have three for background checks. It will be interesting to see who's shows up first. If she wins, I'll never live it down.
My better half has one county I have two but she sent in a certified copy of hers, I didn't so I already have a good idea of who will be getting theirs first.

Does anyone know how to set this up so that you get an email notification when someone responds to your post or is that possible?

Hey, they cashed my money order 8/21/09.
Shouldn't this be like paying a contractor, you don't get paid until the work is done. Maybe the process wouldn't take as long if the payment was on the back side instead of upfront.

I've been lurking around for a little while, but decided to come on out and wait with some company.

Plus, to paraphrase an old commercial, I've got questions, you've got answers. This forum is a great resource, and I know I thoroughly enjoy visiting and learning.

Well as you can tell from my signature line, I am too(in Tarrant). I'm not to far ahead of you as you can see from the profile at the bottom. When did you take your CHL class?
