Hooray! I finally got everything together and sent off 2 applications today. (Certified Mail, RRR, of course!) One application went to Austin, the other to Florida. The race is on to see which state processes more quickly.

Timeline:

According to USPS tracking my package was delivered in Austin yesterday morning. When should I call for a PIN number?

They'll send it to you. If you're too impatient for that, they'll tell you to wait 2 weeks after they receive it before calling for a pin. Mine came in the mail almost right at 2 weeks.

Why does it have to be a race....you got me to convert to Beretta, so why can't I get the license first?

New the this board and been doing a lot of looking around. There are a lot of very well informed people here and I look forward to being a part of this place.

Mailed my package on July 2nd. I guess I'm looking at about mid August for the plastic.

My turn to wait! :cryin

App mail on 7/9 and received in Austin 7/10.

I think my wife is getting tired of hearing, "So can you see it? How does this look? Can you tell?" LOL
