No dice for us either. Hubby had his holster and weapon, I had my camera...we were ready. Getting the mail was a big disappointment. We're also going out of town tomorrow but are going to hold off leaving until the mail comes.
So you don't want to leave the house unarmed?
I am leaving for the airport this morning so I have to wait until Thursday.
Made no difference for us, there was nothing in the mail but payment reminders for student loans today. -_-
If it's not there tomorrow...!!
License in hand as of 12-03! We then went out to eat at a Chinese barbecue with a trusted and supportive friend (who hugged my husband, placing his hands on both his gun and extra mags and didn't have a clue), then went to Target and bought some groceries and board games. Fun night!

I didn't even know there was such a thing.
I guess I'll have to do some research on that. Sounds good.
The one we frequent is First Chinese Barbecue in Carrollton/Plano/Richardson (they have several locations around DFW). We crave it. And it's quite a treat because we must drive about 30 minutes to get to one, plus they only take cash. But it sure is good. :) Try the barbecue pork fried rice and any crispy noodle dish. :)

My new mission...search and destroy...barbecue pork fried rice and any crispy noodle.
