do they send it to the mailing address or the residential? The address on my license and residential are different.

Was all in March 30. Plastic finally came in the mail yesterday. Looks like ill be doing my wally walk when I get home. Ive got some errands to run and the fun of school supplies shopping with the kiddos. all in all it was a bit of a wait (126 days) but hey atleast I've got it finally. Anyone else still waiting from march/april timeframe or earlier?

Yep I am. All in april 14th. It has said mailed since Monday and still no sign of it. Hopefully tomorrow.

oh man the wait is real..looks like once you get yours there are just a few left...did it come in the mail yet? I know we both had quite a bit of inside the home carry

Yeah my renewal was April 22nd. Think the holdup was my pic. Finally print pending...

Gal that emailed me told me it takes a few days for printing.

Took the class 2 days later and as of Aug 2 we've been moving along the same. We definitely lucked out. Our timeframe is nothing compared to others. Some have waited up to 100+ days.

The status page is only updated early in the morning. So no sense in wasting time checking it multiple times per day.

Yeah I was expecting the 3 month wait but then a few others in early July started moving really quick so I got hopeful. Sure enough, both of us should have plastic in hand on the same day most likely! (Hopefully tomorrow)

I'm seeing that most background checks and fingerprints are being processed on Tuesday. Don't know if that's the day they work on them or if its just a coincidence. Again I just need those two to turn green so they'll finally ship it! Apparently they got all of the documents on July 28th so that means tomorrow will be the two week mark. I've also been seeing people that submitted everything in early July are starting to receive their plastics. If i go by that time line then i should see a change tomorrow. If not then I'll see if my other theory is correct about Tuesday processing. Either way I just want it already! School starts in two week!

I applied for the LTC online about 5 weeks ago. Submitted my certificate of training from the course through the site a week ago. Any idea when I should see a real status on the DPS website, as opposed to the standard "application received, waiting on all paperwork" message?

I received a confirmation that they received my course certificate later the same day that I submitted it. Getting a little concerned that I'm missing something in my application. I emailed for status, but of course got a form-letter reply.

Thanks for all the helpful info on the board, I've learned lots so far!

I would just give them a call to see if all of your supporting documents are in. The lady that will most likely answer is very nice and helpful.
