It's already 4/20/16 with no changes in anything. Emailed rsd last week and still no response. Tried calling them but all i get is due to high volumes try back again and than they hang up is there a certain number I call or just the

Ok I got email response saying

Our records indicate your license was selected for issue on 04/20/2016. Allow several days for printing and preparation for mailing. After mailing date, your license should arrive between 7-14 business days.

Does this mean its almost time for me

Status changes online this morning 4/27/17 hopefully will get plastic in hand before weekend to enjoy walley walk

Newbie here, hi all.

Feb 12th applied for LTC on RSD website
Feb 12th took and passed class
Feb 17th did fingerprints
Feb 17th sent documents online
Feb 17th We have received your License To Carry supporting documents.
Feb 18th identogo fingerprints email receipt received

No status update on site, have not called or emailed. Waiting patiently :)

April 26th; Website changed to list "Change mailing address" etc.

April 27th (yesterday); plastic in hand

I called the (512) 424-7293 number and after a 40 minute wait time, Sherry answered and told me that my application was approved for printing today 4/28/16 and that I should receive it in 14-21 days; not the 7-10 days Reggie told me earlier this week. I would recommend calling the "main" line and see what they say. It took about 6 tries before I got in the queue.

Anybody know what the average time is form "approved to print" to time in hand?

I was all in on 2/20. Called yesterday and left a voice message. A gentleman called back a couple of hours later and said that my license is in San Antonio and I should get it by next week. I asked him why it was in San Antonio when I live in Austin. He replied that all the licenses including driver's licenses are mailed from san antonio.

Has anyone who has been told 7-10 days by Reggie received their plastic or is this guy just pushing us all to get us off the phone?

I'm starting to notice that trend as well, I'm tempted to call him myself and see if I get the same response.

Very annoying that we can't get an accurate status update without feeling like we are being told something just to get off the phone.

If you do call, please let us know what he says.

I called today and left a voicemail inquiring about my status. A lady named Danette (spelling) called me back asking for my driver's license and gave me her direct line.

I called her back and she answered right away, I gave her my DL and she put me on a brief hold and told me the same thing as everyone else. Please allow 7-10 for processing the application. She my background check had came back and they have all the things they need. The 7-10 days is to make sure everything is there and to be input the system, then it would be sent to printing. She advised me to call if I had anymore questions. She was very nice I might add.

I'm starting to think that calling that number is the way to go. I'll keep everyone posted if I see a status change or plastic.

I never emailed or called anyone. I was expecting to wait until June based on other people's experience. Imagine my surprise when I checked my mail today and there they were waiting for us. Needless to say, we were giddy and after work I had my wally world walk as I picked up flea medication for our dogs.

On the one hand, i'm pumped but part of me can't help but feel a little guilty for the others who have been waiting much longer than us. Regardless, this thread has been super helpful and somewhat comforting. For the rest of y'all waiting, stay strong. Its been real

They received all my documentation on Feb. 25, 2016, - it's been 63 days, no status change and no plastic - I guess 90 days is the new norm....

NO!!! status change or plastic in mail I think Reggie has the it's been approved you should receive it within 7-10 days for everyone who calls!!! My wait continues will check mail again b4 I leave town tomorrow
