Oh! It does say "manufacturing"! Did I just think the pending word was there an hour ago? Or did update during that time? Who knows! Who cares! Now, just say "Mailed"! :thumbs2:

I wonder if DPS rotates their daily or weekly activity? Monday FP check, Tuesday BG check, Wednesday Mfg. Thursday mail and Friday new applications entered.....

Call DPS about the fingerprints if you haven't already. If you had FP taken 7/14/11 they should have received them by now. L1/DPS had some issues with FP transfers in July, so you may need to give them a prod. Good luck.

I called and gave them the TCN number on 8/31 and they told me it would take 2-3 weeks for IT to pull the prints. I've also emailed them my TCN number as well and got a confirmation email saying that they got my fingerprint information (TCN number). The funny thing is I also included my L1 papers with the TCN number in the application packet I sent, I would assume someone would have looked at the packet and say "hey he included the TCN information in his packet". I called again on 9/12 and they told me that they already have the TCN number and it will take another 2-3 weeks for IT to pull the data, that will make it 6 weeks for IT to work on the problem and transfer the data). I was told that electronic fingerprinting will make the process quicker because everything will be in a database making cross referencing prints and applicants information easier. I guess their IT is half way across the world in India which would explain why it take 2-3 weeks to electronically transfer data or access the database. I would understand why it would take so long if they are still back in the paper days and have to track down the prints and match it with the application by hand. I assume now that everything is in a DB and writing a DB script to pull from a database is easy for IT. They could cross reference hundreds of information relatively pretty quickly. Sorry for the rant but coming from the IT world, seeing this kind of IT error is pretty frustrating. I guess I shouldn't really be complaining, it's still less than 60 days, running on day 15 now. Still seeing 15 days of error is still frustrating. Again, sorry for the rant. :confused5

If you continue to have trouble, check with some of the people from the July 2011 Applications thread who had similar FP issues. They may have some tips to get it pushed through.

Well nothing in the mail today. I know it was just mailed yesterday, but I was just really hoping. It's probably going to be tomorrow or Friday.

Actually now that I think about it when they sent me a letter saying I need to send something back to them it did take about 4 days, so probably Saturday.

From looking at previous recipients' posts, there was often a couple day's delay from the "mailed" day and the actual postmark on their envelope. So mailed might not actually mean it is in the mailbox or at the PO just yet. Not trying to rain on your parade, just sharing what I've read. It's so crazy how each step just seems to take an eternity! Don't you wish there was an option that said, "Don't mail it, I'll drive to Austin myself and come pick it up myself!" I hope for your sake that it does get here by Saturday. If I were you, that's what I'd be hoping for, too! Good luck!!

Don't take that post seriously Shaolinha, I was only kidding. I have no idea how they do it but id seems like things do come in batches. I have been stuck on BG check under review for 4 business days now and I am getting pretty tired of checking and not seeing any changes. Lord give me strenght!

Welcome, sit tight and keep in touch. It helps to know we're not alone and to see the progress of others.

Just checked for the last time and I am still under review. I hope I don't start a fight with the wife when I get home....

I also noticed we didn't see many updates today. Just the few who went to mfg this morning. Maybe we'll see some more post over night tonight...
