In San Marcos, got the email saying it was mailed Friday, and still nothing. No status change, no card. I may give them a call. Seems like the common theme is status change and the next day you get the card (for those of us close by)... 45 minutes to San Antonio or Austin, wherever they come from. I wouldn't doubt that my post office is holding it in back somehow. You want to get really frustrated at some government employees, check out the San Marcos Post Office...

Here's my timeline:
Class- 1/04/2016
CHL-100- 1/05/2016
Fingerprints- 1/07/2016
Confirmation- 1/07/2016
Status Change- TBA
Plastic- TBA

I'm on day 81 now. 55 business days. Last week I was told I was in the final stage, which I assumed was printing, but that was last Monday and I'm in Austin 10 mins from headquarters. Friends who did the class with me and submitted on the 22nd have had their plastic for 2 weeks almost 3 now. Hopefully this weeks my week... I emailed my state rep last Monday and have yet to get a reply. Guess she's left wing.. Just my luck.

All my stats are same except Fingerprints on 1/13. Two emails back and forth with Chief of Staff, for State Rep did nothing.

I have been following the "Waiting Room" for about 6 weeks. Some people have pastic in shorter time than others. Some received confirmation emails and others didn't. Some website changed, some didn't. I received my plastic yesterday, 3/28. (84 days in) My wife's plastic still AWOL and I emailed them back to back, all in date 1/5. Other husband and wife teams have received their plastic on same day.
My website did not change until yesterday morning. Earlier this month a member here had website change 3/7 and it took more than 2 weeks for him to get plastic.
Many have called various government officials for help. I didn't. They think it may have helped, I'm not so sure.
Seems there is no norm. They have increased the staff but the real culprit is US for waiting so long to do it.
they are now receiving about 1500 apps a DAY, as opposed to 600 - 800 this time last year.
BEST ADVICE TO ALL... They are working on them, average time from ALL IN to PLASTIC is 3 months (90 days. HANG IN THERE, KEEP CHECKING THE MAIL, BUT BE PATIENT.

I will continue to follow till the Eagle Has Landed for the wife.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Keep cranking them out RSD! I'm on day 68 and hopeful for some good news soon.

Got my confirmation email Jan5th, and as of today, March 28, the status is officially changed. Can't wait to get my hands on that plastic!

So far I have emailed my state Rep and Greg abbott lol we will see how much longer I have to wait.

What is frustrating that i completed mine 1 month before a co-worker and he got his and I'm still freaking waiting. :banghead: :mad5
Good luck with that! Lemme know if you're State Rep has more pull. Three emails and 1 phone call later = nada

All in 1/15

I'm pretty confident that they are just calling asking very nicely if the would look up & get John does & Jane does process updated to them with a little importance, please. No heat, just respectful.
IMO
:tiphat:
I agree with this. I didn't contact the Rep for "heat" as much as for them to call and get an update. And to let them know what was happening with LTC applications. In all its been a smooth process - if a bit frustrating.

I was confirmed on 21 Jan, still patiently waiting...
In my case, I wanted a lil heat. But got a cold call from RSD to wait and see

Progress! RDS told me this morning that my application was selected for issue yesterday. No change to the website yet, but I was told it would take about 14 days to receive in the mail from the date of issue. That would put me at 91 days if received 14 days from yesterday.
