Congrats levidale! Say hello to Mickey and the gang for me.

I understand completely joe817. I had to do some of those disposition thingy's too (turns out you don't have to engage in full frontal or air assault to settle a difference of opinions...who would have guessed :boxing ). Haven't been asked for more info yet...it was 19 years ago though, maybe they won't need to see them. I had been stalking the forum and saw the timelines so I started that process after my app.

But....truthfully the real value in the whole CHL process is this forum. I have learned so much listening to you guys ratchet. Lot of good people on here and I hope they don't all quit and go away after they get their plastic.

I agree with Lost in Austin on finding this forum being a good thing. Lots of good information and company to while away the time as well. Rest assured that while I may not frequent as often once the plastic arrives, I will not be a stranger. Of course, there are those who would say I am strange enough as it is.... :biggrinjester:

LIA, I can honestly say the same thing! I had a whole month and a half frequenting this board before the exam, and I realized straight away that there is deep understanding and profound knowledge here that is not in the booklet that DPS sent me. I read so much prior to the class that when class time came around I felt very confident that I was well prepared, even though I read the DPS book 2 complete times, it took this forum to decipher WHAT it said.
...while I may not frequent as often once the plastic arrives, I will not be a stranger.
You'd better not be!!! I won't have anybody to harass anymore besides LIA and USA1, and USA1 doesn't count because he usually ends up beating me up worse than I beat HIM up! "rlol" :smilelol5:  "rlol"

Ok, ok.....I'll hang around and keep you guys entertained :tiphat:

I wasn't saying I was going to disappear off the face of the earth,(although there may be some out there who wouldn't mind that....), studying and homework are taking up a LOT of my time these days. Today is more Physics, Math, and History, with a little Management Information Systems thrown in for good measure. Definitely keeps and old man on his toes. I have become a true believer that mental exercise can be more draining than physical exercise. I'll be slipping in and out of the forum regularly, I assure you. :cheers2:

Can't really break up the three stooges, you, me, and USA1, can we?? :biggrinjester:

I just did the math. My app showed completed last thursday, if it comes in the mail tomorrow it will be 89 days. Which also happens to be my sons birthday. Could be a good day for both of us. :cheers2:
