Same town here Tim. However I sit between Denton County (County Taxes) and Collin (School Taxes). Wonder which county will do the processing?

I also finished the course and qualified on June 4th at Bracken Range in San Antonio. I mailed my packet to the bureau June 5th and they received it June 6th. Received pin in mail on July 02.

The status still says "Processing Application". Welcome to THE ROOM.

It's nice to have company....... We will see who gets there's first between myself, my wife and Hoppes. I have to be in San Marcos to work as a Science Camp counselor next week so maybe it will take my mind off of it.

I have no idea how they update the site but I am almost out of the room. Waiting to see if my wife got hers but don't have her info as I am out of town.

I have some experience with summer camps held at several universities. Sometimes, it was not so much fun. I'll follow up when I get my plastic...

Maybe we will batch together and get plastic the same day. I think it is day 40 today from the day DPS signed for my package. Still some days to go but I hope it is sooner than later.

For me, I think today was day 47 (total days since DPS signed for my package on the Certified Mail Return Receipt). I checked again this evening and status was still "Processing Application".

If it doesn't change by Friday morning, I am going to give the bureau a call and find out how I can help them with my application. I've heard from a few people that something will go wrong and they will not notify the applicant or worse, a couple have been told that the bureau sent a letter but the applicant didn't get it.

Good luck and hope it completes soon for both of us.

TR100 Problem

I still have not been issued and I know what the problem is. I called the DPS/CHL yesterday. I learned that my CHL instructor messed something up with the TR100. He never told me about the problem. DPS never notified me. Instead, they decided to recycle my application for another 60 days now. I don't think it is fair since it was not my error, but I'll say this, "Here I wait again!" I asked the pady at DPS/CHL if there is something I need to correct and she said, "No, but we can extend your application for another sixty days and since the problem was found on June 29, we have until August 29th to approve your application."

The instructor was not helpful in describing what the problem was. So it may be another 30 days before I receive plastic in the mail

I will not be using that instructor in the future.
