July 19 (Friday) Mailed out
July 23 (Tuesday) CHL arrived.

So I just turned 21 on Saturday (the 20th) and for some reason it would not let me start the application process online till the 21st. Yesterday, I mailed the application express (one day guaranteed) and today I got my fingerprints done. The USPS tracking said it has been delivered and signed for. No update on the DPS website though. I hope it goes as fast as all the rest have this month. My dad did his a couple months back and it took him almost 50 days to get his in hand.

Wait about 2 weeks before you see an update but things do seem to be moving fast this month :)

I'm an inpatient person. So I'll probably check every day anyways. Even though it probably won't update for a bit.

Just sent the rest of my packet in today. Fingerprints done 21 July and show up as under review. Needed the new CHL 100 form since I got mine a while back and waited too long to mail it in with the payment. Payment and new CHL 100 form should complete the packet, so I am counting today as the day I finally got it all right and in the mail.
25 July to ???? Hopefully by my B-day on Aug 31!!!

Good luck maybe you'll get yours before then my friend sent his the same day as me and is already in manufacturing in just 2 weeks it all depends on the background check I guess.

July 6th: Submitted application online

July 7th: Took chl class

July 9th: Sent required documents online.

July 10th: Did fingerprints. Received email reply that documents were received and forwarded to appropriate processing department.

July 18th: First update - everything complete except for background check under review.

July 23rd: Background check completed. Manufacturing pending.

July 24th: Mailed

July 27th: Just now received in mail about 20 minutes ago.
