Feb 19 Scheduled CHL Class
Feb 22 Passed CHL Class, Passed Qual, Registered Online, Scheduled Fingerprints
Feb 24 Uploaded all documents online (received documents received email confirmation), Fingerprints completed *Wait began

Online still shows Application received awaiting documents. I called and was told wait another 2 weeks. They said All documents were received and accepted. :rules: :banghead: :banghead: :boxing :banghead: :banghead: :mad5 :mad5

I wouldn't expect to see anything till around the 42 day mark. But yes you will continue to check it obsessively, we all do/did ;-)

Pretty sure all this online status stuff is auto generated updates. My status went to received and Manufacture pending on saturday, to manufacturing on Sunday to mailed on monday. I'm no expert on the State DPS working hours but with the speed they seem to be moving on applications, i'd be willing to bet they aren't working weekends. :nono:

I would concur with that assessment!

I'm sure I'm days away from being a mailed a status and I leave for a motorcycle trip and would like to have it by next Wednesday, but just not sure it will show in time. Still shows background and fingerprints under review. :confused5 :waiting:

Dropped my paperwork in the mail 2/19 (fingerprints and online app were all done early Jan). I finally got a status change this morning, 4/2, saying my background check and fingerprints are under review. I've moved a lot and had a few job changes during the period they check so the background may take them a bit more time.
I ordered an Alien Gear holster about a week after I sent in my CHL paperwork and it finally shipped and is going to be delivered today so things are finally happening.

Sent in my stuff on Feb 17th
No updates for weeks.
Called DPS to ask about it on March 17th and was told that it would probably take 6 - 8 weeks before i saw any status updates on the site.
Checked the site the next day (March 18th) and there was an update! Coincidence or does the squicky wheel get the grease? Everything was checked green and back ground check was in progress
Today (April 2) background check completed and Manufacturing Pending! :anamatedbanana
