I was reading another one of your posts and noticed the date stamp on your signature - Congrats! Mine took 2 days from Austin so shouldn't be long.

Re: March 2010 Applications
Still "processing"
On the good side, I received my SuperTuck and Gun Belt this weekend and I had a day or two to work on concealing my FNP9. Eventually, I went to the largest shirt in my closet and was able to remain concealed (shirt tucked or un-tucked) in most movements. Bending over to pick something up was a giveaway every time. I either had to squat or kneel and reach in order to avoid printing.
Well, hopefully today is the day that I go from "Processing" to "Approved"!

Re: March 2010 Applications
It appears the waiting is about to finally be over.
I came home from a weeks vacation out west last Friday and the website still showed Application Processing.
But then Saturday morning it showed Application Completed License issued or active!!!
I am not quite sure why mine took so long but what the heck,it's in the mail now.
My timeline reads like this.
Class 2/27
Mailed packet via certified mail on 3/1.
Asked for a Pin number by e-mail on 3/24 and discovered that my application was incomplete with letter coming.
Received letter that very day.
Corrected mistake and again sent certified return receipt on3/25.
Due to some unexplained postal mix-up the certified letter vanished and was not even trackable.
DPS receives awol packet on 4/1 and the untrackable return receipt enters my mailbox via the Rio Grand Valley post office on 4/3 (I live in Houston)
The waiting begins again and each day the website says "Processing Application"
I go on a weeks vacation out west and return on Friday 4/23 and the website again says "Processing Application".
I check it again Saturday morning 4/24 and low and behold it says...Application complete License issued or active!!
So any day now the plastic should arrive via our sometimes mysterious postal system.

Congrats! Join the recently approved club of me and Quahog (and others I am sure!).heeler wrote:It appears the waiting is about to finally be over.
I think so too, if all things being equal, your time frame was exactly the same as Quahogs and if you have not received an Incomplete notice, then you should have it today.HighHandicap wrote:hopefully today is the day that I go from "Processing" to "Approved"!
Pretty soon you will be just as we were on Friday.
Also, it does seem things do get updated on the website in batches, I do expect someone to pop in sometime and say "the web says processing and the license showed up in the mail!"

Since we were approved at the same time, and live 8 doors apart, I would guess mine is the same

Re: March 2010 Applications
I already have my license and the suspense is killin' me.
From experience, being approved with no plastic is the worst.
Ok, maybe the horrible picture on my license is the worst, but the anticipation is nutz.

After this is all done, a "range day" in San Antonio with good Mexican food to follow could be in order.
