Currently on day 135.............last poster gives me hope! I gave up waiting. I hadn't checked my status in weeks until today. Working in Trauma ICU keeps me busy :) It'll get here when it gets here! I do agree that it is ridiculous, but, unfortunately I doubt we can do anything about it. Good luck everybody, and for those who just submitted their apps.....I do not envy you! Just try and be patient (haha, yeah right).

You working at the Med Center?? I just graduated from RN school and am having trouble getting an internship; if you know of anything please let me know.... Im taking the NCLEX next week.....

Finally, some progress! I called today and my background check was returned yesterday.

Just called and got the same information.........said 2-3 weeks now to actually receive the license....hahaha, AWESOME......... I wonder if it really takes that long...

i mailed my stuff 2 weeks before you did, so we should be getting our stuff around the same time. Need to hurry up..

Now, just have to wait 'patiently' by the mailbox.

Finally got a reply from my email to DPS and "We are currently awaiting the printing of the license. Thank you for your continued patience." I'll believe it when I see it.

169 days total. 124 days since processing after photo retakes. BG checks in Harris Co./Bexar Co./Faulkner Co. (Arkansas)
And today "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"

i just got an email saying they are waiting on printing also.....status is still the same on their webpage.

I just got off the phone with DPS and the lady said my license was issued today, she said I should have it in 7 to 10 days.

147 Days since DPS received packet.

I live in Hays County but because of work had BC done in: Hays, Travis, Harris counties.

Guess the lady at DPS was not joking, I checked this morning and no change but just checked online at 2:55pm and
"Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"!
