Well Tim, they cashed my check on the 15th. All I keep geting in the mail are credit card offers, and a cell phone bill. I sent them an email today, I will let you know what they say.

On with the obsessive multiple DPS website checks per day!

I tended to limit mine to 3-4 per day, except on the weekends, where it was only once or twice. First thing in the morning, sometime in the middle of the day, and late at night. Mine happened to change status to issued/complete at about 8:45 in the morning.
I got my pin about 2 weeks in, and had a 59 day overall processing time. That's... about 100 checks to the website. :willynilly: You should probably check a little less than I did. It made me a little antsy. :totap: Range trips tended to relieve that considerably, though. :fire

Happy waiting!

So they will change your status during the day? I thought they only updated once a day, at 5:00.

And you know the only reason they give us a pin is so we won't call them on the phone 3 or 4 times a day.

When mine changed, I had checked status at about 7am (I work nights). I decided to check it just before I left work, at about 8:45 am - it had changed to issued. This indicates to me that it updates in close to real time, whenever the application status is changed in the system.

I got my blank Florida application in the mail today. I have filled it out and tomorrow I have a flight to Tampa to visit the kids. I can get my fingerprints done electronically and submit the application with my DD Form 214, picture and money from there. There is a good possibility that I could get this license before my Texas one.
