Re: December applications
You can go on the website and request the PIN and get it through email I believe.
https://www.texasonline.state.tx.us/NAS ... AppManager" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Click on Continue and then Track the status, then click on PIN, and it will tell you how to request one.

Re: December applications
Still processing, I assume I'll be very tired of seeing that
On a side note, I've been carrying to and from work and while at work (the owner said it was ok even before I took the CHL class), it's hard to get used to. The most comfortable I've found so far is the stock OWB that came with the XD Compact 9mm and Compact XD 45ACP with a longish bowling type shirt, I have a SuperTuck but it's not as comfortable. Just trying to figure out the best way before I can actually carry off private property.

Re: December applications
Hi everybody,
I took the class on dec. 21, and i sent off my packet yesterday. I sent it certified. So now I wait. I just hope I did everything right, theres so much you can get wrong it's hard to know. I guess I'll just spend my time at the gun range working on my skills. Anybody know of any good tac classes I can take in the houston area that aren't too expensive?

Where on the website do you check the status of the application, I could not find that anywhere.cdc101 wrote:Woohoo!

Re: December applications
Don't bother sending an email to request a PIN... it sends back an auto response from "Simone" that reads:DEADEYE1964 wrote:Where on the website do you check the status of the application, I could not find that anywhere.cdc101 wrote:Woohoo!

"Your application has not been entered into the system. It is likely
going though the processes required before entry. When a completed
application is entered you will be sent a confirmation letter with your
PIN number. When was your application mailed?"
Now, if you answer the question, (when mailed) you will NOT get a reply. I mailed on the 15th of this month, I got that reply yesterday, for the second time (7 days apart).

Re: December applications
that depends on how you applied, I believe. If you did the online application, took the class, then sent everything back, the PIN is ready for you right away. If you mail in a paper application, you have to wait for it to get entered. Logical.
