CONGRATS on the newly minted plastic and the new Kimber! It's a beauty! Saw one in a gun shop in Wharton yesterday and hubby was positively :drool: over it and nearly created a puddle on the case.

Either that or he pee'd himself from shock. We actually got my PARENTS into a gun store!! Dad was driving and he pulled into the parking lot of his own volition! Mom walked around with a disdainful look upon her face. Not the type of place she cared to visit and certainly appalled her daughter was like a kid in a candy shop.

They did get me that spiffy gun safe I have been eyeballing for awhile. Won't get it until Christmas.

Hopefully I will hit the range today. I have several errends to knock out first but it is looking good for the home team. Now just gotta get the plastic in hand.

With all the approvals, and even some in the Nov waiting room being approved, I got impatient and called for a detailed status. "Waiting on background checks". The wait continues :waiting:

Checked my status online today and it said...... Application Completed - license issued or certificate active. WOHOoooooooooooo :hurry: :thewave

Forgot to add, I picked up a Glock 23 and a KalTech .380 to celebrate. Can’t wait to carry, Any recommendations on the best holster for my Glock 23?

At least two people who were approved on 11/26 (like me) got their plastic yesterday.
