Re: 2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...
New to this site.. so hello all..
04/01/2019
App in
Prints in
All information in 1100
Received email around 1530
Saying that the documents have been received.
Nothing was on the site showing any type of sign that the process has been started.
Waited a few days and still nothing.
04/05/2019
Emailed from the website and received a message, that the application is in processing and that no additional documentation was needed.
So guess the question is how long does it take for your LTC process take to show on the DPS site?
Have seen no movement at all.
After logging in it says.
Choose service.......
Please not.....
If you have completed your LTC review and do not wish to apply for .....
Start application
•apply for instructor......
Nothing at all about the LTC process taking place
Any help would be appreciated..

Re: 2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...
Good morning all. Here's a rundown on my timeline so far to give you an idea of how DPS is doing.
3/24/19 submitted LTC100 to DPS and received email confirming all necessary docs had been received.
4/5/19 noticed all green and print pending status. No idea when print pending showed up because I hadn't checked in over a week.
4/9/19 print pending changed to mailed this morning. Assuming I'll have plastic in hand this week.
All seems pretty quick to me so hopefully all other applications will move along a fast.

Re: 2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...
I am on day 69 (I think). I sent in my application on January 27th. Received the confirmation email January 28th.
I knew it would be a long process. In the past five years I have had two jobs and lived several different places. About 4.5 years ago I was arrested for not paying a speeding ticket. Did an over nighter for that. Not sure if that would get me rejected. Anyway, I saw that some of you have sent emails and phone calls. So I emailed the DPS on Friday (the 5th) and I haven't received a reply. For those of you who did email, how long did it take for them to respond?
I have also seen the recommendations to call my local state rep. I have figured out which rep to call but he has several numbers listed on his web page. He has a few numbers listed for his capitol address in Austin, and he also has a number for his district address. Which one do I call?
At this point it is laughable how long this is taking. I am considering just letting this go on to set a record for the 2019 timeline.

Still waiting on a renewal submitted 2/18. Fingerprints and background check under review. No additional documentation requested. So who knows?
Re: 2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...
Kinda similiar as above ^ I submitted everything for an initial LTC on 2/17 along with my girlfriends application. She received her license within 3 weeks (no arrests). I had a bit more digging to do on the background check so mine is still pending. The email says they have 60 days for an initial and I've called about 3 times to see if I've missed something the mail. I've just been told to wait longer... kinda frustrated with the timeline but it is what it is, I guess.

Yeah but the mislead about the time. They will say it's from the day the processing actually started or it's business days. The statute says none of that. Or they will just flat violate the statute all together.

Showing Mailed today. Hopefully tomorrow
Re: 2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...
I finally went to print pending status this morning. I contacted the state representative and his director was useless and made no effort to help me. I ended up contacting DPS and asking for information to file a complaint. Lo and behold, less than 2 days later my status changes.
