I think you look it up the same way as an initial application. I'm in the same boat you are. I applied for my renewal 1 Apr. Did anyone have to resubmit their DD-214 for the veterans discount? My checklist says to submit it "if not on file". I assumed that meant if it was my first time applying with the discount. I'll give them a few more weeks before I start calling.

April 5: Applied Online
April 8: Chl Completed
April 8: Fingerprint Completed
April 9: Submitted CHL-100 and documents by email
April 9: Received confirmation email

Figured I'd post here to see where I'm at with everyone else that applied in April :txflag:

I applied back in Feb 19th, called March 11th to check on status was told that they started background check on Feb 26th, recieved letter from RSD on March 31 asking for more info on an arrest from 1989, emailed docs on April 2nd, got email confirmation later same day. Called RSD on the 17th, was told that "all looked good & to check for status updates on Thrusday next week".

Did my online renewal on 1 April. As of this morning, I have the "change address" option.

Did my online renewal April 14th. Had the ststus change (address change etc.) this morning, April 29th.
I called and was told my license had been approved for renewal on Friday April 24th. They said i should
have my new plastic in 7-10 days. These are excelent turn around times kudos to DPS.

14 April - online renewal
24 April - approved for renewal
29 April - update (address change etc.)
New plastic in hand soon!!!
