Submitted forms electronically 2-24-15
Status changed on website 3-12-15
Plastic in hand 3-18-15

Hardest wait was after I saw the status change on the web site. Seemed like forevvvvvver!

But, 22 days total. Not bad.

Dvldog I submitted dd214 too everything sent up on the 21st of Feb. Had to resend the 214 and still waiting. You would think after 10 years in the Army I would be used to hurry up and wait. Lol

Nope. Not a vet. Have a son and daughter-in-law who are though, so I know a little bit about your frustration. I honestly wish they would move you guys to the front of the line as a routine practice. Thanks to all you vets for your service. Hope you get your plastic soon!

So first off, I had to redo my fingerprinting cause it was rejected. Found out Friday that i had forgotten to submit my Born out of Country documents, which I submitted electronically together with my CHL100. Called the other day to confirm that they have everything already and was told that they're still waiting for these documents? Is this normal? Also when exactly do they start the process? Do they wait to get everything (CHL100, Out of Country Docs, etc) before they start?

They will definitely wait for your Out of Country documents because it's part of the background check and such. They'll need those to confirm you're not an infamous nigerian prince whose recently came into a lot of money but is in need of someone elses accounts to move it through and other silliness. Needing to get your fingerprints retaken is pretty normal, just means they didn't get as much of your print as they wanted or the scanner was dirty, etc.

Welcome to the forum..hang in there buddy, you will get it eventually. It will take quite some time. The waiting period is painful but worth it though

Congrats!!! :cheers2:

I hope I didn't sound like I was complaining. I just thought there seem to be a pattern with the DD214.

Got my letter on Saturday to (RE)submit my DD214. Resubmitted it this a.m.
