I accomplished my electronic fingerprints 8/30/14 when I did my chl class, still have they paperwork from same. Calling the location that took my prints tomorrow and Austin first thing Monday morning. Has this happen to anyone else? My prints were good and we're accepted when they were taken, not sure where the hiccup is here.

Hi, I'm new to the group.

9-7 took CHL class
9-7 sent online application
9-10 finger printed
9-10 sent package by Priority mail

Now the waiting begins... and I hate waiting.

Do you all have holsters already? What is everyone's choice of holster going to be? I went with a remora. They have a 35% discount and 2 free mag holders right now.

I actually had 5 holsters before my plastic came. I wanted to be familiar with carrying before venturing out, so I did so occasionally around the house. I also practiced drawing (safely), and of course lots of range time. Your Remora may be the only holster you get and use, or you may find different alternatives more conducive to your lifestyle. I currently have a kydex, IWB leather, OWB leather, sticky and nylon. For one gun (for now). I figure one of those is going to be my favorite.
Unless you're waiting to purchase your weapon after you get your CHL, I'd encourage those who will be carrying to become accustomed to carrying prior to your first Wally walk, for many reasons.
