Anyone have any status updates for their July submittals?

Yep. I sent in all my documents online 07/29. Got the update to change address / Report lost or stolen license today. Should be in the mail soon. Cant believe that turnaround time.

6/4 Application
7/12 Class+Fingerprints (crossfire)
7/16 DPS receives my remaining documents via US mail (because I'm an out of state applicant without a Texas DL so I need to send photos)
8/1 Status screen shows change address and other stuff so plastic should be in the mail soon.

Mailed documents by snail mail on the 21st of July, and got status update to change of address screen today. I don't know if being mil made a difference, but I was expecting a lot longer wait.

DPS recieved Checklist materials on 7/21/2014 (certified with return reciept snail mail). Status changed on Web Site today. 8/5/2014.
I'm a Veteran, but I don't know if that had any effect on time.
Just a little note:
I had previously sent materials in on Feb. 2014. Just plain old mail.
Must have got lost, I guess? Made me a little upset but it's not like I needed it desperately.
Send it by Certified with return receipt.

My plastic arrived yesterday. It's so much better looking than my other carry licenses.

Got Plastic in today. Must live a little bit further than the others who's status changed on the 5th too. 20 DAYS.

My daughter took her class on 7/19 and sent in the documents electronically on 7/22, same day she had her fingerprints taken. Received her CHL on 8/16, pretty prompt service!
