Re: Texas.gov online status check
Received mine in mail today! I'm convinced that if you check your status and it contains a link to report a lost or stolen license, it's on the way.
Mailbox to mailbox 19 days, June 17th to July 5th.

Thanks.CoolBreeze wrote:Welcome to the forum.synsei wrote:6/21 CHL class completed

6/27 "Waiting for required materials" message on the website
7/1 No status | Used email form to request a status check and confirm all was copacetic | Response pending
Still no email response from DPS (other than the confirmation that they received my email request on 7/1). I figure I'll stay out of their phone queue until I have a more legitimate concern about the status of my application. There are a lot more folks with more reason to speak to somebody since I'm more of a lookie-loo at this point. I'm just not a fan of not knowing the status even if the status is "no update".

You're way too early to call/email. You're just contributing to bogging them down more.
Re: Texas.gov online status check
I'm not anxious to know the status but rather if any further action is required of me prior to being able to relax and go into "wait mode" for up to 90 days. This is why I used the email form instead of calling. Generally speaking, an organization will have dedicated personnel working the email workbox as time permits (within certain time parameters). Had I never saw a status to begin with, I'd be less inclined to feel the need to make sure nothing was wrong. Providing a status then taking it away inherently causes concern.infoman wrote:You're way too early to call/email. You're just contributing to bogging them down more.

Re: Texas.gov online status check
Strangely, this one expires in 2016. I'm guessing that's a result of my having put the application in 2years ago, but it still struck me as odd.
