I was told that they were waiting on my paperwork, and asked if I had sent it in yet.

I told her that this was the first time I had heard that. And that it was sent 60 days ago. 10 seconds later she mysteriously had my paperwork. I was then told it needed to go to data entry.

When I told her that they had 60 days to issue or deny, she told me that the 60 days starts now because they just got the paperwork. I explained that it was all sent together and that the 60 days starts when the actually get it, not when they get around to pretending they just got it.

Asked for a supervisor and was hung up on. Was polite the entire time, just refused to be lied to.
Well, maybe now that you've been told they found your paperwork you can get the ball rolling. I've tried to get through today, nothing.
Now's the time to get your state rep. involved. The only way this process is going to improve is if we make enough noise.

uploaded docs on 04/29, status online has never said anything but application processed online". No change. Ever. Called today and a very friendly lady stated it was completed and mailed today and would take approximately 5 days to be delivered. I'll believe it when I have plastic in hand, but... Coincidence??

Just got off the phone and they were not very helpful. Said the wait would be 56 minutes, but only ended up being 33. I'm sitting @ 50 days and just wanted to make sure they have everything. He said it was sitting at about 2 months before mailed materials were even being entered to start the process.

Interesting...how long since you docs have been submitted? Wonder if this is a new thing they are doing.

Thank you for using the Regulatory Services Division’s website.

We have received your CHL application and your fingerprints are in the system. However, it is too soon to verify receipt of all required support documents at this time. Documents that come through the mail sometimes take longer to reach our office in order to confirm that all your documents were received. This information was forwarded to a CHL Specialist for review and processing. If any other documents are required you will be contacted by mail.

Once all your paperwork has been received our processing staff makes every effort to complete the application as quickly as possible. It can take up to 8 weeks to completely process.

For security reasons, please do not respond to this email. Should you need further assistance, please return to our web page at Contact Us to securely submit additional inquiries. You may also contact our office at (512) 424-7293 to speak to a CHL Representative. In order to help us assist you please reference your CHL #06440487 when speaking to a representative or submitting email inquiries.

Quite honestly if I called them today I would tell them that it has been 60 days already. They obviously have no way to know when their mail came in if June CHLs have already been processed. Actually I may just do that and hope it gets the ball rolling. I am currently sitting at 50 days since they should have received my materials via usps.

EDIT:
Called in and told them its been over 60 days since I mailed in the materials. They said that it could take 30-90 days until their system even shows that the documents have been received. They have a very poor system in place there. I can think of multiple ways that they could improve the efficiency of the incoming documents. Oh well, once I get to 60 days I'll contact my rep to try and have them help out.
