that is correct and only because i kept a log i sent them 13 emails asking if they had everything they needed and if they actually received it even though they signed for it and also i had 9 calls left messages on 6 with no call back sat on hold the remaining 3 times and 2 of those i got the standard we don't know yet response and the 3rd and final straw i sat on hold for 43 minutes only to have someone pick up and hang up immediately.

However, my husbands is still "under review" and we did everything at exactly the same time. Status updates showed up on the same date for each of us (with one small difference).

That place is such a joke.

Happy for you, I submitted mine on 5/2. 49 days, and I still have the generic screen with no status updates at all.

I probably should cancel and resubmit it, I'll get it next week that way.

completed class - 5/3/14
online application - 5/3/14
fingerprinted - 5/6/14
submitted chl -100, and checklist via USPS certified mail - 5/7/14
signed received by TXDPS in Austin - 5/13/14

as of today (37 days after received by DPS, yet feels like a year!), the DPS website still reads:

"License Status: Application processed online. Concealed Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required materials. Once the application and materials have been received by Concealed Handgun Licensing and processing has begun, a more detailed status will appear on this page."

should I be concerned? should I re-submit by email?

Re-submitted my CHL-100 and barcode checklist today via email. Maybe that will help move to the top of the stack, (Or at least get an update on my status). I have received an email stating TXDPS has received my info.

I guess some people are just lucky. I'm not one of those people. I will be patient and wait 10 more days to see if my status has changed. That will put me and my wife both at 60 days, with no email stating the documents have been received, no update in status on the website and no response from the emails sent to inquire about the status.

Kaos....Chetter818 is correct, I saw the first status update on 6-4-14 (recv'd/under review, and the fingerprints showed "under review" at that time too, but changed to "complete" a couple days later), then this morning 6-20-14 I see everything listed as "completed" and "manufacturing pending", so that's 16 days for status change and 23 days from the date the documents were submitted . ..... I'm guessing I'll be one of the lucky ones to get through quickly,I won't believe it til I have it in my hand though. Even though mine seemed to go through quickly, my husbands is still on "under review", I'll keep giving updated until we both have them in hand. But I guess it's now time for me to figure out what I'm going to carry and WHERE....maybe I'll head over to the woman's board and get some advice on holsters for women.

New Status Update this morning, Saturday 6-21-14

Yesterday, the 20th the status was updated to MANUFACTURING PENDING, I kept checking it all day long to see if it would change and it didn't, I even checked at about midnight before I went to bed, still showed "manufacturing pending". Saturday morning 6-21-14 at 8:45 am when I checked again it was changed to "MAILED"!! Now we wait for my husbands to travel through the system, we applied at the same time, I uploaded all of our documents at the same time, confirmations received at the same time.......

I wonder how many times I'll visit the mailbox in the next few days

(oh, and my last post just above this one, I meant to say "Chetter818, kaos is right...." not the other way around ((like I did)), sorry about that kaos)

This is depressing seeing all of these people who submitted their documents weeks, even a month after I submitted mine, getting updates and even getting their plastic, while my wife and I have emailed and called, and nothing!!!
