Woohoo! Finally an update online! After 87 days and two calls to DPS, I log on to find this:

Application : Received
Fingerprints : Complete
Affidavits : Received
DL or ID : Valid
Citizenship : No documentation required
Passport photo holder : Received
Photo : Received
Proof of Classroom training : Received
Proof of Proficiency training : Received
Fee : Received
Background Check : Completed
Concealed Handgun License : Manufacturing Pending

:anamatedbanana :anamatedbanana :anamatedbanana

Time for me to buy a concealment holster for my G19!

It's not generally too long from here, is it? It seems like a lot of people are seeing "Mailed" the day or two after this update.
Some people see it as a shooting range. I see it as a Second Amendment theme park.

You should give it about 4 business days. That's how long it took mine. Congrats!

Thanks, everyone! My case I believe is an anomaly with it taking so long. I have zero criminal record (only have a traffic ticket from San Jac County which got thrown out) and have lived in the same place since 1997.
