Any suggestions? (other than sitting quietly and waiting) :???:
yeah it does no good to check site for updates several times a day because it appears that it updates between 6AM to 7AM and when mine updated the first time everything was completed and it said manufactured pending

I'm happy to say I can join this thread,
3/22 - class taken
3/26 - online app submitted
3/31 - forms and court documents mailed
4/1 - fingerprints taken
4/2 - paperwork should arrive in Austin

I hope I'm not to much delayed with my court stuff having to be looked at

You guys may correct me if I'm wrong. But from what I gather, it looked like DPS only allowed uploading of docs through the website for renewals while the passport photo requirement was still in effect, which makes sense to me.
Many applicants (initial and renewal) here on the forum have successfully used RDS to upload and send their docs.
I also submitted mine online via RDS. I got an email confirmation the same day saying they received my documents and I have since called and confirmed.

I stalk the February thread (admit it, so do yall!) and a lot of people that have called we're told to give it 8 weeks, or 90 days then ended up getting an update sooner than that. I think it's what they say to try and get people not to call often. It seems to be taking the February people about 45 days with some exceptions so if I get nothing by 60 days, I'll call on it. Is call and confirm at 45 days that they have all my stuff though.

60 days would be a miracle! I'm on day 129; 5 phone calls, various emails, written correspondence .... I am about at my wits end with these bumbling folks. I don't think anyone knows what is really going on between various people in this organization. They can't seem to get all my paperwork to the correct place..... :banghead:
