This morning it's 'manufacture pending' <dance>

What's this tradition about the Wally walk?

Today - waiting background check. Darn that high clearance I had. Always slows down background checks.
So background check was in process 3/04
Today 03/15 it is complete and manufacture is pending.

I'd wondered myself about it and as best as I can tell it means simply "First time out you go shopping at a Wal-mart!"

I'm not positive about this of course, and wonder if it has anything to do with concealing among the types of people that shop there i.e. average Americans? :???:

Pretty much. Doesn't have to be Walmart, just your first walk carrying your firearm among the masses to help get over the perception that everyone is watching and can tell you a carrying a weapon.

I mailed of my originals on March 4th, like a an idiot... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Whats the rule of thumbs about calling the lovely ladies down at the Department of Public Safety? 40 days since mail-out?

I would go ahead and submit the electronic copies through the website. If nothing else, just to make sure they get them twice! Good call on making copies and scanning them for your records.

I mailed off my Package today. I did certified mail even thou I know it may slow down the process. At least I will have tracking information for my documents. I completed my online application 2/27/14 and submitted fingerprints 3/10/14.
