but i read on here that someone got this message,
"On the 11/18/13 I received an email from DPS saying "We have received the documents attached to your email. This information will be forwarded to a CHL Specialist for review and processing."
Now I'm a little worried ???? :???:

Ok boys and girls. Good news! They are now on the 3rd week. I was reading infoman's post about the website taking 1-2 days to catch up and although I checked my status 3 times yesterday, I decided to check it at 6 am this morning. After 58 days with no updates whatsoever, my status switched to print pending upon completion of background check. :anamatedbanana
My prints were done on 10/13 and I mailed my forms 10/16. USPS told me they would get there the next day. Perfect timing since I off Friday and Saturday next week

Just be aware the time line maybe delayed but so is the mailing. This didn't show up until today and was postmarked 12/11/13 even though they showed it being "mailed" on 12/9/13.

Damn makes me antsy, usps showed delivery on mine 10/17. I'm trying to be patient, I have a hard time ordering things online.

Congrats Amonix! :clapping: Glad the mail finally showed up. Mine started showing "Mailed" on Friday the 13th. Should see it this week.

Unfortunately, 5 days through USPS seems pretty quick. My sister lives a mile from me but the birthday invitation she sent my kids traveled a total of 200 miles to get to me. Why are they surprised the mail service is losing money? At any rate, congrats!

At least this gives me time to change my mind again and again about a EDC. :totap:

Checked today.... Background check pending.
As of today... card manufacturing pending :hurry:
Received card 12/14. :woohoo

Exactly two months from receipt by the state. Interestingly, my wife also received her card the same day and she sent her app in one week later than mine.
