Still check online where you registered on the DPS website.

I heard when I moved here it was a 60 day process. Let me know if you want me to give you stories of living in NJ. You will feel like this stuff is short.

Same here, moved to Texas from Mass. Some there wait a year, only to be restricted to sporting and hunting and never get to CC.

2 of the many states in the North East to stay out of if you have a gun & don't waste your time with CC.

Hi! This is my first post here. I also submitted all of my paperwork electronically online. Here is my timeline:

9/15 - Took CHL course
9/18 - Fingerprinting done
9/19 - Submitted all forms online (barcode form, CHL-100, fingerprinting receipt)

Still no update when I check my status. I'm resisting the urge to also mail all of my documents via snail mail because the website did say wait 30 days for an update. I'm mainly curious if anyone else has submitted a completely new application online, and how long did it take to get an update and plastic in hand. I'm hoping this government shutdown business isn't affecting wait times. :headscratch

Welcome to the forums! :patriot:

I was wondering the same thing about the government shutdown. My status is currently on background check and it updated just yesterday, hopefully it changes within the next day or so then we'll see. :waiting:
