Please step away from your CHL until we can get the CDC to confirm it is not a fast moving zombie.

Thanks ;)

21-foot rule doesn't apply to 28 days later zombies. It's a 200-ft rule.

Checked my status about an hour ago and, to my surprise....updated!!

One question: Should I at all be concerned that fingerprints are still under review? I do have a misdemeanor arrest from 2006 that ended in deferred adjudication and a dismissal, and I submitted certified copies of the court disposition paperwork with my application to expedite things. Could that be it?

I think the finger print under review is probably normal. I have seen a lot of post here like that there was no problem.
Hang in there. you on your way!!!!!! :clapping:

Texas1999 - I had the same "Fingerprints Under Review" when I submitted my application and supporting paperwork from a 1997 Misdemeanor charge. I didn't have any problems with getting my CHL within a reasonable time (46 days MB to MB).

I was hoping you'd check back in. :)

mnewlander mailed 06/05, status update 06/22 (17 calendar days)
You mailed 06/12, status update 07/02 (20 calendar days)
I mailed 06/18 ... no status update.

There's no way this is data enough for any kind of analysis but I'm hoping I get a status update before next week. It's just, you know, a hope.

Manufacturing pending as of this morning! :woohoo

Took my class on 6/1; everything supposedly got mailed in on 6/3 (no reason to doubt it, but also can't prove it). Not as fast as some this month, but not bad either.

Aaaand it's mailed! :thewave

Edited to add: it occurs to me that there may be no more fitting way to celebrate Independence Day than by knowing my CHL has been mailed! :patriot: Well, ok, having it in hand would be even better, but who's being picky?

I'm assuming I should have uploaded my required docs, too. Even though I know it's normal, there should be no reason (other that its the government) that its nearly two weeks without even a "Thanks. We're working on it."
