Nope. I received the email 8 days ago that my docs uploaded on the site were received but my online app still states it's awaiting documentation.

I'm in a similar boat Hombre, just a little up stream.

It looks like there was a week between when you submitted your docs on the 9th and when you got your email confirmation on the 16th. I'm glad you posted this because I did the same thing Thrusday. I got robot mail back that says basically, we got something, wait 2-5 business days, but my status stayed the same as it was before the submission:

License Status: Application processed online. Concealed Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required materials. Once the application and materials have been received by Concealed Handgun Licensing and processing has begun, a more detailed status will appear on this page

Since I'm a high-end document management and workflow application developer, I expect things to just update themselves anytime a milestone triggers an event. When you consider they are running parallel with a paper based system, coupled with the fact that they are doing it on a Texas government budget, I think they are doing a great job.

I'm glad I read the third post above mine. I submitted my docs through email Thursday. I hope mine uploaded fine because the why my luck goes, I'll fine out in a month that they didn't and push me even further behind. At least now I know I should expect something within a week and a half.

Called DPS this morning and spoke with a very professional sounding man named Mark. He said that my additional documents were received on 01/10 (the signature card reflects 01/09) but were just entered into the system today. He said it is taking 60 days from the date the additional documents were received for the entire process to complete. Online status still reflects documents pending. Progress finally!

And today, Feb 8th, it was waiting in my mailbox. It was postmarked on 2/6/13. I also live right outside Austin so that probably didn't hurt either.
