Got my plastic yesterday, mailed paperwork 11/19. I had to run to CVS to get a couple of things yesterday so I thought I would see how it felt. I have a XD40 sc carried in an OWB holster at 4:00. Didn't feel to odd although I was pulling my shirt frequently. Then I went to checkout. Wallet in back right pocket, a bunch of people in line behind me. Really stressed about getting my wallet out without revealing. Guess I'm going to have to carry my wallet differently.

I wouldn't psych myself out too much. I've worn my pistol around the house for the past couple of months and my wife has yet to notice (if she did she would've said something). Translation: people probably aren't paying as much attention as you might think.

When checking status this morning I received a web page that says "This Texas.gov service is temporarily down for maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please check back soon."
