I feel terrible! It's all my fault! I forgot to take into account that Friday set us one day back.

You will get it tomorrow, you will get it tomorrow, you will... :shock:

:lol::

Too nice, but I know it wasn't your fault.

It is irritating to me that it showed mailed on 11/8, and I would even give them the benefit of the doubt that it didn't actually go to the post office until 11/9, but I still can't believe that, even with a holiday thrown in there, that I didn't receive it on Saturday, 11/12, much less yesterday, 11/14.

Heck, even if it got to the post office on the 10th, I would have still expected it to be here yesterday. Even with the holiday and a Sunday in there.

But I guess I shouldn't expect anything less (or rather more) from the postal service.

Supposedly they go out in big batches, I'm assuming on Fridays, from other timelines... It took mine 5 days to get to me after it showed mailed. I won't guess anymore, just good luck!

That would actually make sense to me as far as what they do to try to manipulate the dates on their end to their advantage. On the front end, they don't show a package as 'received' until they get it scanned into their system or whatever they do with it. Then on the back end, they show it as mailed although it won't go out for days because they do so in batches.

Probably shaves about 10 days or so off the time they show or report as the time it takes to complete the process and makes them look good (or at least better) when they report their numbers.

And yet another day comes and goes without a present in my mailbox. When I mailed everything off it took one day to get there per the USPS. So when it says "mailed" I highly doubt that to be true.

Mailed 11/10?? Hahaha :nono:

I with you on this. If it WAS mailed on 11/10, even with a holiday and a Sunday to consider, there is no reason for it to have not gotten from Austin to the Bryan/College Station area by today.

Surely, the postal service can't be that inefficient???? :confused5
