I was upbeat walking to the mailbox today... Head was looking down all the way back into the house... No CHL in the mail.. Just junk mail.

Sorry, but you probably have another two or three days to go. The mail is funny. You can have a post office next door to where you live, and you can mail yourself something, and it might go through another postal facility 200 miles away because that is the facility that handles the mail for your facility. Fed Ex does the same thing. I ordered something from an education group in Scott, LA. You would think it would just shoot right across the line and straight to Tyler. Heck no, it had to go through Memphis first.

You were right. Not there today either. But heck Doug with Bear Creek Holsters put my holster in the mail today!!! So that is a win. Hopefully, plastic will be the prize tomorrow.

Mine went from Background Check under review to Manufacturing Pending this morning! Woo!

Plastic came today! I wasn't expecting it until tomorrow. Problem is I have to watch the kids tonight and don't want to try and go out with them. I guess it means a late night trip to Wal-Mart once the wife come back. I may brave it and carry to the TX State Fair this weekend.

Just did the Wally walk. Kind of weird carrying the first time. I went over and looked at ammo and was approached by two Wally employees asking if I needed help. I have to admit I was a bit worried when they walked over too me. I know it will get more comfortable, but the first time I was definitely very cautious. I was carrying my Glock 17 using an IWB holster at about 4 o'clock, so I think once I get something a little smaller it will be easier.

Mail box to Mail box= 31 Days. (FYI) TXDPS internet site said mailed on 10/31/11 but envelope was post marked 10/17/11. Weird

What a day. Received my CHL in the mail and the holster from Bear Creek for my LCP. Sweet deal!!!!!!
