Why long manufacturing times?

Has anyone called and asked why the manufacturing dates are taking longer than usual? It looks like they used to take 1-3 days, now it looks like weeks.

Has anyone called and asked why the manufacturing dates are taking longer than usual? It looks like they used to take 1-3 days, now it looks like weeks.

I have no valid information. I suspect:

1. This is a high volume time of year.
2. The actual plastic is done by a vendor and the individual data is grouped in "batches" to that vendor.

My plastic was delivered in a two week time frame around this time last year.
