Just stumbled across this forum, and it seems to be a great resource with a lot of helpful members. My status finally moved to "mailed" on the 22nd, but only after what seemed like forever to do the background check. I don't mind the wait, but it would have put my nerves at ease to know a lot of people have those kind of waits. I was starting to worry there was something in my background I didn't know about!

Welcome to the Forum. You didn't tell the DPS that you jumped out of perfectly good airplanes, did you? That could explain the delay :lol:

This forum is a great resource before you go for your CHL, while you are waiting for your plastic, and once you get it. Always good stuff going on here. Welcome and thank you for your service to our country. God Bless you. :tiphat: :clapping:

Thanks for all the kind words of welcome. It's especially great to see all the Airborne, or military men of any brach for that matter. Really enjoying looking through old posts. This forum has a great "tone", where people are respectful of differeces but not afraid to share their opinions. Thats a thin line to walk, and it looks like you guys do it great!
