14 days from the day I mailed it in to the day they mailed it out. That's much faster than I expected. In fact I'm still waiting for my Crossbreed. Should I pick up another holster to use until it comes in? If so what's a decent cheap IWB for a Ruger SR9c?
Lucky!
I know going on a daily accessory buying spree has helped the time pass! First is was magazines...then a holster....next some new 1911 grips....later some fancy VZ grip SCREWS...: : : :rolll :rolll :rolll

Yes, i spent 20$ on 4 tiny screws...

...i blame DPS.

Well, blah. No real answers. I called today and said that they were still waiting for my info to come back from the crimes dept. (THERE ARE NO CRIMES :mad5 ) They must keep digging hoping to find something. Nothing to find except maybe a warning for speeding 10 years ago. Anyway I digress. Said it could come in today or it could be another 2 weeks. :banghead:

Though I did ask specifically when and how often is the website updated from their database. I was told it was updated once every 24 hours right before midnight cst.

I'd almost bet the hold up is Moore county not getting their crap done again and sending the info in. Would be par.

lol. I wonder if that excuse would have worked with my wife? I found paying cash, hiding the receipt, and telling her my Kahr PM9 and Springfield XDM 3.8" 9mm compact were the same gun, kept me from getting busted. Good thing she does not know a 9mm from hair blower.

Better keep that gun out of the bathroom! :smilelol5:

As my daughter's would say, OMG!!! You got to let a little water run under the bridge in order for the DPS engine to get enough energy from the water turbine to power the engines of progress. There have been some amazing turn-around times reported lately, but the poor saps in Austin do need a little time to put your application through all of the check (choke) points.

Gratz on the Crossbreed! I hear those are really comfy! Personally, I just love leather too much to go kydex.

So...here's an update. I got a nasty-gram from DPS today saying that I need to send my certified disposition of arrest from over 5 years ago..blah blah blah.
I sent in a disposition but I guess they didn't like it, so now I've got to deal with the Newport News, Virginia court system. :banghead:

Luckily someone answered the phone at the courthouse today after trying 3 numbers and they say I just need to send them a dollar and they will send it to me.:
....at least they didn't want 2 CENTS. "rlol"

PLASTIC!!! Woohoo!! :woohoo

It was sitting in my mailbox right next to my new Crossbreed. What are the odds they both come in on the same day. :)
