John, I like it fine. I've put about a thousand rds through it with nary an issue. A lot of CCI Blazer and WWB. I'm carrying in a Don Hume OWB JIT holster at about 3:30. However that being said, I am WAY more accurate shooting my wife's XD-9 SC. I've thought about trading for one of those myself but the Kahr is WAY much easier to carry. I'm going to stay with the Kahr for the time being, but may get a carry rig for the XD and see how that feels. I have read the concerns and problems that some folks have had with the Kahrs but mine runs flawlessly. Enjoy your stay on the left coast.

Its a Springfield Armory EMP.
They're pretty new. Has a 3 digit serial #. Won't be able to go and shoot it until Wednesday.
It is a nice looking pistol.
You can read more about it here

FINALLY
Saw this on the website today.
Application Completed - license issued or certificate active
77 days after the DPS received it. Of course my packet was missing a set of fingerprints.

Okay, I'm officially out of the waiting room, but I may poke my head in from time to time to see how the rest of ya'll are doing.
81 days from mailing to arrival in the mail, though I did have the fingerprint mix-up.
My wife's license also arrived today though the website still shows "processing application".
Thank you all for making the wait bearable. I've already worn out in public today. Was no big deal. I knew it was there, but it really didn't seem that big a deal.
