Re: January 2011 Applications
yep yesterday mine was pending manufacture and today it says mailed.
When I mailed mine from Colleyville to Austin last month it took 5 days so I am guessing at least a week more to wait. We'll see.

Re: January 2011 Applications
License in mailbox today (Feb. 16) . Postmark is Feb. 15, but states pre-sorted first class. I suspect that is the reason for delay between status showing mailed and actual mailing. Perhaps the mailroom has to wait for enough outgoing mail to pre-bundle for the lower rates (35.7 cents instead of 44 cents). From class to license in hand it took only 25 days! Good luck to all still waiting and hang in there, your license IS in the mail.

"MAILED" today!!!!
Received my plastic and new Air Marshal holster today after a bit of drama/prank by my loving wife.
I arrived home to find the mail lying on the count. The envelope on top was from the "DPS Department of Licensing", I immediately started doing the happy dance.... I ripped the envelope open and found my wife's new drivers license inside, my heart sank !!! I did a quick double take of the addressee on the front of the envelope and it was address to me???? I must have had a really stupid look on my face because my dearest start laughing her head off!!!!! She was nice enough to hand me my license before she started rolling around on the floor bust'n a gut.
For the record I have decided pay back is in order!!!!!!!
Time for my wally walk

UHG!!!
I looked through this thread but I didn't see it. Did you use FAST or old ink style prints?

Ink prints taken at the class.
I'm just going to schedule a time with L1. I don't think I HAVE to wait for the "bad prints" letter. Or do I?

I wouldn't think so, unless they attach some sort of PIN to your letter.
If I were you I would give them a call and be prepared to be on hold for about 30 minutes.
Good Luck!

Re: January 2011 Applications
Unfortunately, with my work schedule I'll today it will be tough to hold for that long. Tried searching for an answer but haven't found anything so far.
