That would make a nice little drive, and I'm always up for good Mexican food.

I might have to get a new gun to wear, just for the occasion.

If I didn't know better, I'd say the anticipation is as hare on y'all as it is on me! Sadly, I'm still "Processing". Maybe tonight? Fortunately, I'll be in a training class all morning and getting a root canal (yay :cryin ) this afternoon. I won't have much time to check until later tonight. I will, however, be thinking about it constantly!

How about you? I'm waiting to see when your plastic arrives, but I'm sure Quahog will let us know before you get home from work today.

Ya know, on May 15th, Texas Tactical is doing an IDPA match at Cedar Ridge Range just north of San Antonio. That might be a great time for us to gather and do a good bit of shooting.

Yep, ya know, I am not sure I am looking forward to his PM to me later, it will be a lot like the "Major League" (the movie) scene when it is "Cut Day" and the players want to open their lockers, but are afraid the red card will be hanging there. :rules:
I will get that pop-up saying there is a message waiting, but not sure I want to open it LOL

This is worse than Christmas as a kid.

And I don't even have a stake in it. I'm just watching from the sidelines! :hurry:

Well, I went home.... you know.. to .. um... let the dogs out. Yea, that's why I went home.
Since I was there, I picked up the 2 trash cans, as the garbage truck came by this morning, and oh, since the garbage cans were next to the mail box. I thought I would check inside, you know, not that I am expecting anything to be there, but only so I would not have to walk all the way to the garage, and all the way back the 40 foot driveway to mailbox, again.

Well.

it

WAS

EMPTY :cryin :grumble :waiting: :cryin :grumble :waiting:

Yes, as in the mail was not there.
But as I was leaving the house, I pass by Quahog's house, and he is standing out front, waiting for the mail (or bird watching as he may call it).
We talked for 20 minutes, and hey, there comes the mail.
She stopped, dropped his mail.... it was not there.
So I assume mine is the same result, but I head to my house, 8 houses down the road, waiting (IM)patiently for her to reach my house. She came, I looked and was very disappointed :cryin

maybe tomorrow

Yea, I guess I don't understand how the pony express works.
Getting mail (approved on Friday -others received theirs 3 days later), from Austin to Houston, is a task that has been done for ages, and is really only a 1 day turn-around, so it could have been here on Saturday, but I felt that worse case, it would be Monday, but come on, now at least Wednesday!? :confused5
I told Quahog that tomorrow, I would not be going home (to let the dogs out at lunch) and would wait very impatiently till after work - or until he messages me that he got his -- I may have to beg him to check my mailbox, to save me the urge to come home and check myself LOL

Hmm....Well after my recent experience with my certified return receipt mail that I sent to the DPS that vanished, untraceable at that, by the postal system and then resurfaced and got there a week later, you will get a good insight about our mail systems sometimes flukey happenings. :???:
Funny things can and do happen.
And, since you were approved on last Friday and myself that next day Saturday lets see who gets theirs first.
Me who lives in N.E. Houston or you who lives in a small town just slightly south of Houston.
Hopefully by this Thursday we will both have received our plastic. :cheers2:
