FIFTY-NINE days later, I get a letter requesting more info about my juvenile record from 32 years ago!! So, I've sent my request to the county clerk's office. I figure two weeks to get the certified copy of the "final judgment and sentence." Then another two weeks (or more) for the DPS to assimilate the letter.

So, I'll be one of the 90+ days people. :grumble :waiting:
Okay, so I got the necessary paperwork from Taylor county (they couldn't find anything from 32 years ago, duh!) and sent it back to the DPS. It didn't take as long as I expected for them to review the paperwork and get everything approved.

I FINALLY got the "Application Completed" message on the website, yesterday! (3 months and 13 days) Just a few more days for the plastic, heh?

Super congrats lancermit! It won't be long now! I'd say you'll get it about 3 or 4 days AFTER you get the message online "application complete". Let's hope it's next week! :thumbs2: :thumbs2:
