A Glock 19 with Hydro-shoks and a cell phone to call 911 after the smoke clears. Everything else of value lives in the safe. I keep the Glock out so if I'm hit during the day and ripped off, I'm not out much.

A nightstand, a wall, a guitar (or 3), a glass of water...or a bottle of water sometimes.

An iPhone.

A G30SF with Streamlight TLR-3. A G22 with TLR-1. About 8 ft, and LMT CQB Piston AR with light and sight.

I keep my Springfield XD(m) in .40 S&W in a GunVault Mini along with a tactical LED flashlight. (I have a toddler in the house...hence the GunVault.)

I also have an 80-lb Labrador/Golden mix dog, who is my early warning system. :-)

I'm a little less forgiving I guess... I have a Mossberg 500a (persuader w/M4 style buttstock) loaded with 3in Slugs and Bird shot. Slugs to blast through the door the coward would hide behind and then bird shot so he bleeds out b4 the medics can stop the bleeding. I don't have kids and I have plenty of dry wall Spackle to fix any holes.

Beside my bed is where tShe wife stacks the "no for sleeping on" pillows when its bedtime, so I don't even get a nightstand  Oddly though, our 85lb Boxer sleeps on them when she works nights....shhh :biggrinjester: . I keep an HK P2000sk with an Insight X2 laser/light combo in a ROG IWB holster between the matress. Winchester Defender with Managed Recoil 00 Buck is in the closet. If things go bad and the zombies come, I can have the safe in the office opened in no time and daul wield XM-15's while executing tactical backflips down the hallway to the escape pod in the garage. :coolgleamA:

On the night stand is my Sig P220.
In the drawer of the nightstand is my Kimber Ultra CDP II.
Under my bed is my Rem 870 with M4 stock loaded with alternating goodies.
In her drawer of her nightstand is her Glock 23.

I have kids, so my loads are a bit light as to not go through sheet rock...that being said, here goes

Wife has 38 special with Hornaday critical defense rounds- crimson trace grip

I have an alert "buttercup" (boy dog that weighs 24lbs that pees squatting....ok ok...not the most manly dog, but he works)

I have a Mossberg 500 with 6 position AR style stock loaded with #8 bird shot in the tube with three 00 buckshot on external mounts on one side, and three superX slugs on the opposite side. The pump has been changed to a rail system with a scatter laser and LED spot. With a bungee sling.

The whole idea behind the 8shot is to keep the rounds in the immediate room, and not be able to go through the walls/floor where my kiddos may be.

My carry is in a quick open safe in the night stand.

My side: CZ P06 .40 with night sights and speer gold dots, a surefire, my cell phone.
Her side: Bersa 9mm, cell phone, and a little barky dog with a very good sense of hearing and a dislike of strangers on his lawn.

Right now the Bersa Thunder 9, amossberg 500 and a 20 lb jackrussel schnauzer mix.

I might add the dog didnt bark as some punk was smashing out my truck window and taking off with my car stereo and ashtray full of change. They also managed to booger up the ignition cylinder.

You know the day is not starting well when your daughter asks why the truck doors are open...

on a side note does anyone know of a good rottweiler trainer and breeder that is reasonably priced?
