They used the photo from my driver's license, which is 4 1/2 years old (and has me clean shaven -- I've worn a full beard for 3 1/2 years now).
Is this normal? My drivers license doesn't look anything like me. Also my passport photos came out pretty good and my DL picture is terrible. Nooooooo.

I really liked my passport photos as they actually looked like me too. Talked to the good folks at DPS and they said that there was a problem on their end with the second set of passport photos. Something happened when the scanned them in (don't know what, maybe the scanner ate them or something) and they decided to just grab my driver's license photo so I wouldn't have to pay to get more photos taken and waste time waiting around. If I did want it with a different picture, the nice lady I spoke with said that she could accommodate me if I sent in the photos to her but I declined.

Did mine last night, and second carry this morning.

Went to Burnet, TX for Main St. Bethlehem and then a restaurant afterwards. This morning took it to church and then a restaurant for breakfast.

I called today for a status update and was told I'm up for printing. Mid, to late-January my plastic should be in.

About 4 months but only because I had to add missing info. Problem is, when they returned the app, it was lost somewhere between DPS and my PO box. I had to wait on them to send it out again, add the info, send it back and then run background. No complaints though, I'm glad it finally came in.
