I haven't heard anything from them yet. I figured that I would wait until it's been 90 days before I officially sling a fit with them.

Your application may have fallen into the rabbit hole. (Sorry, couldn't resist with your user name. "rlol" )

Seriously, I would contact DPS and see what the hold-up is. I think a lot of the ones that got into the system before they got a lot more on the ball have fallen to the bottom of the stack and they are processing new ones before getting the older ones out. :totap:

With so many new applicants getting their CHL's in a month or less, there is no reason yours should be delayed unless there is some underlying issue with the application or your personal record.

Call DPS, they're not very nice, but you can at least complain. After a whole bunch of e-mails, I called one friday and they said it was printing, then the next tuesday, it was mailed. It can never hurt to call! :thumbs2:

I've been lurking on the board for quite some time now and reading, reading, reading, but decided to finally post to let you know you're not the only one. I mailed mine in on Nov. 6th, got the processing letter in the mail about 10 days later, and it's been quiet ever since!

I'll give them a courtesy call tomorrow to see if I can answer any questions for them. :)

Hi hotrodscott, welcome to the forum and glad to have you with us! :tiphat: That's a pretty long time for your app to be in processing. Any news? And do you check your status online?

Thanks for the welcome!

I do check online. Still "processing application."

Not knowing that they were going to mail me a PIN, I requested oen online back in Nov., so I have a real, live e-mail address for someone up there, so sent them a note last night respectfully asking if I was missing anything or if they had any questions I could answer to help expedite the process.

I'll call them if I don't hear back in a day or two.

Thanks again!

Hi maddyn99, welcome to the forum. Glad to have you with us.

Now would be a good time to call them. And when you do, ask for the tech handling your file, as the call taker may not have the most up to date info you are looking for.
